WMU UPDATES The Annie Armstrong Week of Prayer for North American Missions The Annie Armstrong Week of prayer for North American Missions is March 4-11, 2007.  The theme this year is "Change Your World."  The prayer brochures will be int he bulletins for March 4 and the offering envelopes will be in the bulletins March 11.  The church goal for this offering is $1,100.00.  For every $50.00 given to the offering an easter egg will be placed in the Easter basket in the vestibule.  The offering will be collected through Easter, Sunday, April 8, 2007.  W.M.U. Annual Spring Meeting On April 26, 2007, Bethel Baptist Church will host the 115th Shiloh Association W.M.U. Annual Spring Meeting.  The meeting begins at 5 p.m.  There will be a covered dish meal at 6:00 p.m., followed by the second meeting at 7:00 p.m.  All women of Bethel are invited to attend.  Food Closet Please remember your canned food items for the Food Closet.  Collection boxes are in the vestibule and int he hall outside the Fellowship Hall.  This is an important ministry and we are proud that Bethel is participating.  Cards for the Virginia Prison Chaplaincy Ministry We are collecting all occasion cards for the prisoners in Virginia prisons to help the Virginia Prison Chaplaincy Ministry.  Paper bags are in each Sunday School room for the cards.  We will be collecting the cards through March 25.  Impact Virginia Bethel's impact team will be going on June 17-23 to Martinsville, Virginia.  The chaperones for this trop will be Matt and Lori Eckert and Jodi Dodson.  The youth going on the trip are Jarrett Brumett, Michelle Embree, Jacqueline Bedsaul and Caitlyn Ford.  Please keep these team members in your prayers as they prepare for this misson trip.  Anyone wishing to make a donation for this trip, please contact Christine Carder.
